Dofus Mousepad: for fans of the cult French MMO

Launched in 2004, Dofus left its mark on a whole generation of French gamers with its colorful and endearing universe, tactical turn-based gameplay, and highly loyal community. More than twenty years after its launch, Ankama's game continues to bring enthusiasts together around its instantly recognizable world.

For all fans who want to show their devotion to this cult MMO, we present our selection of Dofus mousepads, available in classic and XXL sizes.

A French MMO that became a cult classic

Dofus established itself as a benchmark in French MMOs, thanks to a very recognizable artistic direction, blending cartoon and heroic fantasy, and a rich universe populated by iconic classes like Iops, Cras, and Eniripsas. This distinctive visual identity lends itself perfectly to premium quality Ultra HD sublimation printing.

What truly distinguished Dofus from other MMOs of its time was its tactical turn-based combat system, inspired by board games, which rewarded strategy rather than pure reflexes. A daring gameplay choice at the time of its release, yet it allowed the game to build an exceptionally close-knit community, still active today on forums, servers, and events organized by Ankama.

The history of Dofus and the Ankama universe

It all began in Roubaix, where a handful of enthusiasts founded the Ankama studio with the ambition of creating an entirely French MMO, at a time when the genre was largely dominated by American and Korean productions. The success of Dofus quickly spread beyond France, driven by very favorable word-of-mouth and a growing community of players year after year.

Building on this success, Ankama built an entire universe around Dofus, known as Krosmoz, which also encompasses Wakfu, its other MMO, as well as a critically acclaimed animated series and several derivative card games. This narrative consistency across different media has largely contributed to strengthening fans' attachment to these characters and classes, which they have found from one game to another for over twenty years now. Ankama has also multiplied events dedicated to its community, such as the Dofus Cup or major conventions dedicated to the Krosmoz universe, where thousands of fans gather each year to celebrate their shared passion. This strong bond between the studio and its community explains why so many players have remained loyal to the game since its launch, some never having left their original server.

Our selection of Dofus mousepads

The classic format

Our Dofus mousepad in classic format features emblematic visuals from the game, perfect for your daily sessions without taking up too much space on your desk.

The XXL format

For players who want a more impressive look, our Dofus XXL mousepad unifies keyboard and mouse on a single large surface, ideal for the long farming or dungeon sessions that characterize the game.

Why Dofus's artistic style lends itself so well to printing

The round lines and vibrant colors characteristic of Ankama's artistic direction provide a particularly polished rendering when printed on a textile surface. The subtle gradients of the Amakna forest foliage, the shimmering hues of class costumes, and the recognizable silhouettes of Iops and Sacrieurs are reproduced with remarkable precision, without loss of sharpness even on the finest details.

This fidelity to the original design is largely due to the printing technique used, which durably fixes the colors within the textile fibers rather than simply depositing them on the surface. The result: unlike many low-end derivative products that quickly fade, our Dofus mousepad retains its brilliance despite prolonged daily use and numerous hand passes.

A real plus for turn-based gaming sessions

Even though Dofus is turn-based, sessions often extend for long hours between farming, dungeons, and PvP battles. A comfortable and stable mousepad over time, with a reliable natural rubber base, directly contributes to the comfort of these prolonged sessions.

Whether you're chaining collector fights between guilds, quietly grinding your professions, or participating in the alignment wars that punctuate server life, having a stable and pleasant gaming area clearly makes a difference in the long run. The consistent glide of the mat also avoids permanent micro-adjustments that can undermine precision at the crucial moment of a tight PvP battle. Players who also multi-account, which is very common in the Dofus universe to optimize solo combat, will particularly appreciate the stability of the mat during rapid spell and movement sequences on the combat grid, where every click must land exactly in the right place.

How to choose your Dofus mousepad according to your playstyle

If you're more of a casual player who logs on in the evening to quietly progress through quests or professions, the classic format is more than sufficient: compact, it easily fits on any desk without encroaching on the rest of your setup.

If, on the other hand, you spend long hours in guild combat, intensive farming, or competitive PvP, the XXL format is definitely worth considering. By unifying keyboard and mouse on a single surface, it ensures a consistent glide across all your movements, a real plus when every frame counts in a tense battle against a rival guild.
